With Fall, Comes Revolt

Summer 2010 is coming to a swift end, Autumn is soon dawning upon us. Personally this is my favorite time of the year. Every Fall brings me a new sense of longing, for something better, more shoes, a cooler name like Francesca, petty stuff I suppose. But this Fall I kind of want everything to change, for everyone.  I always tell you folk, BE BOLD! Well shit, let's do it! Let's get out and get something, let's cause a revolution! Revolt against anything & everything. Take power in your own life, starting with your school fashion choices. Make PEOPLE STARE! Make them second guess their first impression of you. Where a prom dress on homecoming & gym shorts to prom. Be silly with your wardrobe, but hey silly doesn't coincide with tacky folks (continue actually matching your clothing on a daily basis). Wear a FREE WEEZY shirt months after he is released and tell anyone  to STFU if they don't like it. Be You. Who says we have to conform to - as Hayley would say it - "THE MAN"?  If you have to wear uniforms to school die them pink and rip EVERY pair of your stockings. If you live in a Carajo Land area like mine, wear the rival school's gear at every football game, who cares? Dead broke like me?! You can still look good as hell, like me. Go to a local thrift store, everything is dirt cheap and you can find great pieces. I may have went on a little rant there, but it's only because I'm truly passionate about this folks. I cannot ever stress enough how important it is to stay true to yourself, it's the key to success, love, and happiness. And of course doing some wardrobe sprucing up is never a bad thing. Below are a few of my School Must Haves, along with my first day of school outfit. (Yes, I'm a nerd - I already have it picked out!)

Shoes Made For Only For A Goddess.

When I came across these shoes, my joe literally dropped. My mouth is actually still open as I type this. These amazing shoes are made by no one other than Christian Dior. I mean, who else could get away with using a figurine of a goddess as the heel of a sandal? Unique isn't even the word to describe these shoes. They are absolutely stunning.

Shoes That Make A Statement!

These beautiful Toni Maticevski pumps sure make a statement. Actually it's more like a Doll Declaration of Style. Basically, these shoes scream "I'm a doll." They are simple but full of fashion at the same time. I simply adore them. And who better to rock them but my favorite celeb doll, Beyonce?  These shoes are a winner.

Who would've thought I'd be a fan of platform heels?

I never was. Actually I've always kinda been disgusted at the thought of platform heels. Well that was until I got a peak at Dsqaured2's Summer '10 Collection of Woman's shoes. The collection is strictly platforms. Some have spikes. Some are really bright. But all of them are absolutely fierce & fabulous.

In this case, CUFFING is acceptable.

I came across this beautiful bracelet while flipping through the amazing pages of Nylon magazine. The designer is Eddie Borgo and his collection has a great superhero feel to it. These cuffs remind me of Wonder Woman with a fierce twist. I love the spikes and the colors. It's something different and I like it.

A CRIME FOR ALL SEASONS, my dear HELLZ you've outdid yourself this summer.

Praise the dolls who have given this little piece of heaven to all of us here on Earth. Hellz Bellz newest creations come out in their summer 2010 collection "To Dye For" and who wouldn't go nuts over it?! Edge, class, intensity, and absolute fabness all incorporated into one line. How many designers can pull this off? The real question is - How many of our dolls can pull it off?! Try it! Be BOLD with your summer wardrobe and go craaaaaaaaaazy! I know first hand that my next paycheck will be spent on some select items from this bomb collection. Love You All, I've been M.I.A but the brutal one is back.
